Welcome to my 2021 Junior Portfolio! I'm Kyera Frank, a quirky and dedicated Graphic Design Major at Virginia State University's Art & Design Department. I strive to not only retain and execute all of what I've been taught thus far, but to push the bounds of my creative abilities.
This years portfolio is a little different. It's fun, interactive and a little bouncy. More importantly it's a journey through my artistic ups and downs from the craziness of 2020 to today. I hope you enjoy exploring my portfolio as much as I did making it!

As a creative I try to inundate my art with as much as myself as possible, that way the viewer gets small insights into who I am. Fun, free spirited and quirky are words I would use to describe myself and my artistic esthetic. Design exists in my life on many levels whether in my hobbies such as crocheting or my social media persona.

You made it this far, why stop now? Included in Projects is a collection of multimedia work spanning school projects, freelance commissions, and personal pastimes just for fun. Here I tackle problems with well thought out design solutions, by asking (numerous) questions and applying the design process (Remember #1: Identify the Process!) My intentions are to take you on a journey from the sketchy beginnings to the polished ends and I hope you are wowed by the process just as much as the finished solution.

Root 66 is a conceptual farm to table connection system intent on delivering fresh food directly to consumers while cultivating a network between the farming process and local communities.

A custom collection of emojis and badges created for game streaming chats on Twitch. Streamers are able to connect with their audience through design and graphic emotion.
Badges act as a trophy for subscribers as their membership progresses through a one year timeline.
A fun take on the VSU logotype that incorporates repeating patterns and African motifs.
